The Mysterious Origins Of Delphini
Did you ever wonder if Voldemort was the end of his line? Or could he have a child? In ‘The Cursed Child‘, it is revealed that Delphini was born shortly before the Battle of Hogwarts. Bellatrix, ever loyal to her Dark Lord, gave birth to Delphini at Malfoy Manor. Her husband, Rodolphus Lestrange, was seemingly uninvolved or oblivious to the matter.

One of the main questions fans ask is: How did we not know about her? Bellatrix’s pregnancy is never mentioned in the original books. Given the timing, it is believed that Bellatrix must have hidden her pregnancy while Voldemort was fixated on his quest to defeat Harry Potter and secure his immortality.
Bellatrix likely saw Delphini as a continuation of her master’s legacy. But what about Voldemort? Did he ever care about Delphini? From what we know about his character, it’s highly doubtful. Moreover, Voldemort’s obsession with power and immortality left no room for affection.
Delphini Strives For Her Father Voldemort’s Return
Delphini grew up without her parents as they both died during the Battle of Hogwarts. She was raised by a Death Eater named Euphemia Rowle and lived a lonely orphan’s life. Makes it easier to imagine what kind of person Delphini must have become — she became a highly ambitious, dangerous witch.

While her father’s goal was immortality, her only goal was to resurrect her father and restore his reign of terror. Delphini’s plan unfolded in ‘The Cursed Child‘ when she manipulated Harry’s son, Albus Potter, and Draco Malfoy’s son, Scorpius, into stealing a Time-Turner. With the Time-Turner, she seeks to travel back in time to prevent Voldemort’s death at Harry’s hands.
In her eyes, bringing her father back would mean fulfilling her destiny and proving herself as the rightful heir. However, like many of Voldemort’s plans, Delphini’s quest fails. After a dramatic confrontation, she is overpowered and stopped by Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Draco. In the end, Delphini is taken into custody by the Ministry of Magic.
