According to The Hollywood Reporter, David Koepp the one who wrote the original ‘Jurassic Park’ (the 1993 classic) movie and its hit sequel ‘The Lost World: Jurrasic World’ has been called back on board for the new movie’s development. Koepp is a phenomenal veteran screen-writer who has fascinated us with his master storytelling in many classics like the original ‘Mission: Impossible’ (1996) film and the first ‘Spider-Man’ movie (2002) and, ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull‘ (2008). Koepp’s expertise in kaiju is sure to take the script in a good direction.

There has been no report on the director who will helm the new movie. But we do know that the production will be in the hands of Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley whose ties to the franchise go back a long way. And the executive producer will be the legendary Steven Spielberg.

The title ‘Jurassic World‘ implies the fact that the movie won’t be part of the ‘Jurassic Park‘ trilogy. It has been confirmed that the movie won’t follow the usual script of the previous three installations but will set its foot into new realms of possibilities.

This also means that we will have to say goodbye to the familiar ensemble of the cast we have known and loved so far. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern most probably won’t make a return.
