As in the original ‘Spy Kids‘ movies, the children of the secret spies are all set to save the world. The duo is tasked to save the world and their parents who failed the mission. With cool gadgets and planes, the two sets out on a complete adventure. This time it seems that a game developer has unleashed a computer virus. This has helped him take over the control of all technologies. And the Spy Kids have to save ‘their parents and the world‘. The filmmaker has not disclosed if the latest movie will be connected to the originals. But he assures that it “rings more true now than it did 20 years ago.“
“I’ve just heard from so many families how much they’ve enjoyed these films over the course of their lives. And now a lot of kids who enjoyed the first films as children are parents themselves and enjoy sharing them with their kids,” Rodriguez explained why he kept coming back to the franchise. He wrote and directed all four original ‘Spy Kid‘ films. The first three were released between 2001 and 2003, while the fourth one came in 2011.

‘Spy Kids: Armageddon’: Release Date And Cast
According to People, the latest ‘Spy Kids‘ started its work back in January 2021. The script is a collaboration between Rodriguez and his son Racer Max. ‘Spy Kids: Armageddon‘ will hit Netflix on September 22, 2023.
Gina Rodriguez and Zachary Levi are the parents, the married spies. Connor Esterson will appear as Tony Torrez and Everly Carganilla appears as Patty Torrez, the two spy kids. “They are super talented and very fun to watch,” the ‘Spy Kids‘ creator said.
