‘Causeway’: Plot And Cast
The movie is produced by A24 and Apple Original Films and will premiere in select theatres and on Apple TV+ on November 4. The film appeared at the 2022 International Toronto Film Festival. This psychological drama is directed by Lila Neugebauer from a screenplay by Elizabeth Sanders, Luke Goebel, and Ottessa Moshfegh. Critics are content with the roles played by both Jennifer Lawrence and Brian Tyree Henry as two broke people.
The film tells the story of Lynsey, a military engineer who has returned to the States from Afghanisthan after a brain injury. Henry plays the stranger who offers her a ride home and is also fighting with his own past trauma. The two strike a friendship and start to find solace in each other on their journey to recovery.
