1. The McCallister House

The famous McCallister House that featured in both parts of Home Alone is located in the small village of Winnetka at 671 Lincon street, Illinois. During the first movie, the primary shooting was done in this house only but later in the second movie the location was shifted to NewYork.

Recently, Airbnb announced that fans can enter a raffle contest to earn a chance to stay in the famous McCallister house. The room has now been remodeled and opened for the guest to stay in. While it portrays the Plaza Hotel as where the family reunites at the end of the film, the suite segment was actually shot at the Conrad Hilton Suite in Chicago.

3. Chicago O’Hare International Airport

The iconic airport segment in ‘Home Alone‘ is quite memorable and a little relatable as well. The running-through airport scene was shot at the Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

According to the cast members and the filming crew, it was the most difficult and hectic segment to shoot especially during the Christmas season.
