It is a good day for ‘24’ fans. Those who have been missing the series will be happy to hear that they will soon be getting a film adaptation of the series. It is currently under work at 20th Century Studios.
There hasn’t been much news about the highly-anticipated movie adaptation of the series that debuted in 2001. One important question that fans have is about the lead star Kiefer Sutherland. He played US counter-terrorist federal agent Jack Bauer in the series. So will he be making a comeback as Bauer after all these years in the movie?

Will Kiefer Sutherland Return In ‘24’ Movie Adaptation?
The rumors about a movie adaptation are not new. After the end of the original series in 2014, two spin-off shows have also taken place. These are ‘24: Redemption’ and ‘24: Legacy’. But the rumors about a movie never became reality.
This time, Variety reports that ‘24’ will be getting the long-awaited movie. However, whether Kiefer Sutherland will return has not been confirmed. Nothing much has been revealed. So far we have no idea about the characters, cast, storyline, or release date. Sutherland has not released any statement about his return to the role which he won a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.

It’s An A 24 Movie
Adding more fuel to the rumors of a movie, Imagine Entertainment Cofounder Brian Grazer has something important to say. “Imagine has always played in that zone where there is that high probability chance that it will be successful in movie theaters,” Grazer said.
Grazer added, “It’s great for us, because we’ve built, over 30 years, over 100 different products and brands, whether it’s ‘Backdraft,’ which I’m now going to do today with Glen Powell, or whether it’s ’24,’ a movie that we’re going to do in a very interesting way with Disney and Fox.” So we can only imagine how big the movie will be.
