‘Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey 2’ Debuts With 100% On Rotten Tomatoes, 97% Better From The First Part

The beloved children’s cartoon was turned into a gory, gruesome, and dark movie ‘Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey’ by director Rhys Frake-Waterfield and writer Matt Leslie. However, this did not go well with the audience as the movie was bashed across the platform.

Additionally, the movie received widespread hate with people questioning the intention behind turning such a wholesome cartoon into a twisted story.

The first adaptation of ‘Winnie The Pooh’ titled ‘Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey’ received the worst ratings possible. With 2.9/10 on IMDB and 3% on Rotten Tomatoes, it’s safe to say that almost nobody liked the movie. However, in a surprising turn of events the ‘Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey 2‘ release had completely different results.

The movie debuted with a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes which has turned into 89% as of 27th March 2024. In addition to its 6.1/10 IMDB rating which is way better than the 1st one. Unlike last time, people are impressed by the gruesomeness of the film. “It was better than the first! Saw it in theaters and loved the gore. Had me squirming and jumping out of my seat! I also found it such a twist, when they explain how they were created,” a reviewer on Google added.

All About The ‘Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey’ Movies

The first movie is based on the Winnie The Pooh’ cartoons and comics only remaining as a horror instead of a children’s cartoon. It focuses on Pooh, Tigger, and, piglet who somehow turned into monstrous murderers. It also has Christopher Robin (Pooh’s best friend in the books) who returned after 5 years from college.

The second movie starts right after where the first movie ended. In the movie Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger seek revenge against Christopher Robin for revealing their identity to the world in the first movie. They decided to go on a murderous rampage within Robin’s childhood town seeking revenge against him.
