The ‘300’ series will serve as a prequel, taking place years before the events of the original film. This means audiences can expect to see the rise of King Leonidas and the Spartan army. It can be looked at as an exploration of their lives and training before they faced the Persian invasion.

Zack Snyder expressed his enthusiasm for the project, highlighting the rich world of ‘300’ and the endless possibilities for storytelling. “We’re just getting ready to dive in and get to work on it,” he said. “It’s super fun, I love the world. And even just in the preliminary meetings, we’ve had talks about, like, ‘What if this happened or that happened,’” he told comicbook.  

While no writer has been officially announced yet, Snyder is actively involved in the development of the series. He is said to be in discussions to direct and serve as an executive producer alongside his wife, Deborah Snyder.

Moreover, the original ‘300’ producers, Gianni Nunnari, Mark Canton, and Bernie Goldmann, are also reportedly involved in the project.
