In a plot twist hotter than a pop diva’s chart-topping single, Britney Spears took to her now-private Instagram to applaud Justin Timberlake‘s latest musical venture.
The former Hollywood power couple had been in the talks for the deep revelations Britney made in her memoir about their relationship. But looks like the blonde queen is leaving the bad blood behind.
Britney Spears Apologizes To Justin Timberlake
This Instagram episode follows Britney’s previous act of contrition. In her memoir, ‘The Woman in Me,’ she unveiled intimate details about her relationship with Justin Timberlake. One that resulted in the ‘Cry Me A River’ singer getting a lot of backlash was the abortion the former couple had decided to go through at that time. Spears described it in her memoir as “one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life” and alleged that “Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”
Despite the internet backlash Justin Timberlake received he stayed silent on the matter. However, the ‘Oops!…I Did It Again’ singer decided to address the matter once again. Britney acknowledged, “I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about, I am deeply sorry.”
In the practically sizzling Instagram post, Britney also gushed about Timberlake’s new music. The ‘Toxic’ singer shared that, “I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish.’ It is soo good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard ??? Ps ‘Sanctified’ is wow too.”

Britney’s ‘Selfish’ Hits No. 1 Spot On iTunes As Justin Timberlake Releases New Music
In a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, Britney’s fans orchestrated a digital orchestra of sorts. Timberlake dropped ‘Selfish,’ but Britney’s 2011 track of the same name from her ‘Femme Fatale‘ album outshone his on iTunes. Cue the mic drop, or should we say the iTunes chart-topping triumph.
While Timberlake’s ‘Selfish‘ and ‘Sanctified‘ hit the airwaves, Britney’s memoir stirred up headlines last October. She did clarify, “Most of the book is from 20 years ago … I have moved on.” Britney emphasized that the purpose of her book wasn’t to ruffle feathers but to offer closure and share insights from her past.
In the ever-evolving symphony of celebrity drama, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake add another verse. As fans speculate about potential duets or lingering tensions, the pop culture stage remains as dynamic as ever.
