Few stars chose to set the carpet on fire at the 2024 Met Gala and undeniably, Lana Del Rey was one of them. The singer showed up in a beige ensemble, channeling ‘nymph’ and giving her take on the 2024 theme of ‘Sleeping Beauties: Fashion Reawakening’.
This is her first time attending the Met since 2018, and for sure she made a dramatic return to the gala. Not just that, while on the red carpet, she also revealed her favorite song from ‘The Tortured Poets Department‘ by Taylor Swift. Here’s everything about her look.

Wearing a custom beige gown designed by Alexander McQueen’s Seán McGirr, Lana Del Rey was among the best-dressed stars on the red carpet. Details about her outfit included heavy aesthetics inspired by forest nymphs, the bodice of the one-shoulder dress was lined with what appeared to be branches. A beige mesh veil was draped across her face while the branches extended into a headpiece. She held a single red rose as an accessory to complete the look.

While on the carpet, she was also asked about what she thinks about her friend Taylor Swift’s ‘Tortured Poets Department’. The singer called the album “beautiful” and then proceeded to reveal that her favorite song on the album was ‘Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me’.
Though she gushed about Swift on the carpet, she also stopped for a quick picture with Swift’s nemesis, Kim Kardashian.

Many people dropped in to comment on her friendship with Lana as weird, considering she’s friends with Taylor as well.

Is Lana Del Rey Releasing New Music Soon?
It sure is exciting news for fans that Lana is finally returning with new music on her radar as she announced her first-ever country album, coming out this fall.
Announcing her new project at the Billboard and NMPA Songwriter Awards in Los Angeles she said, ”If you can’t already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country. We’re going country. It’s happening. That’s why Jack has followed me to Muscle Shoals, Nashville, Mississippi, over the last four years.”
The album is called ‘Lasso’ and is her tenth studio LP. It will come out this September and Lana is expected to reveal more details soon.
