The 2024 Grammys was a big deal for Swifties as Taylor Swift went home with two big awards and treated fans with a surprise album in true Taylor Swift style!

Taylor Swift Slammed For ‘Disrespecting’ Lana Del Rey
Taylor Swift created history by being the only artist in history to win ‘Album Of The Year’ four times. Taking two awards home for her album ‘Midnights‘, she won the award against artists like SZA, Olivia Rodrigo and Lana Del Rey.
Though critically acclaimed and one of the biggest singers of the current era, it’s quite surprising that Lana has never won a Grammy despite putting out brilliant music with every album she creates.

What fans found worse was Taylor’s reaction to Lana’s loss. Swift and Lana were seated together for the show, and the former celebrated her win for ‘Midnights‘ with the latter, hugging it out and then dragging her to the stage despite Lana’s protests. While on stage, Lana stood way behind in the dark as Swift made her acceptance speech.
Many fans pointed this out as disrespectful for Taylor to drag Lana on stage for an award she lost.

Swift also included Lana’s name in the acceptance speech, acknowledging her musical prowess and for her work on the album. “Lana Del Rey, who is hiding, but I think so many female artists would not be where they are and would not have the inspiration they have if it weren’t for the work that she’s done” Swift said, adding, “I think she’s a legacy artist, a legend in her prime right now. I’m so lucky to know you and to be your friend.”
While both artists have continued to be big fans of each other, the same cannot be said for their fans who have continued to partake in fan wars.

Taylor Ignores Celine Dion On Grammys Stage
In a surprising turn of events, Celine Dion showed up at the Grammys and fans were thrilled to see her healthy and looking absolutely stunning. The chanteuse got up on stage to present the prestigious Album Of The Year award- which went to Taylor Swift for her album ‘Midnights‘.
As Swift got on stage, she also took Lana Del Rey and Jack Antonoff with her as she proceeded to celebrate the win. But what caught fans aback was how the ‘Anti-Hero‘ singer completely ignored Celine’s presence and just took the award from her and started on her thank you speech.

I don’t dislike Taylor Swift like some people do but how she treated Celine Dion is shameful and I watched her face when they were announcing the nominees and Taylor knew that was Celine

Fans were outraged and slammed Swift for her ‘disrespect’. Later on, however, media outlets published pictures of both the artists smiling and hugging it out implying that there’s no beef.
