Madison Beer is trending on social media for an incredibly kind gesture she showed towards a nail artist. The $3,500 rent for a failing nail business was covered by Madison, who caused quite a stir in Singapore with her gesture.
The singer, 25, went to Edens’ Atelier Co., an Aljunied manicure salon, while she was in town for her August 22 performance at Singapore Expo Hall 7. Here’s the full story.
Madison Beer Covers Rent For Struggling Nail Artist
A 21-year-old salon owner, Hazel Wah, described on Instagram how Madison Beer’s visit sparked a significant and unanticipated gesture of empathy. Moving into a larger studio space was a “huge leap of faith” for Wah, but after a former business partner abandoned her, she found herself in serious financial trouble.
Wah continued to struggle to make ends meet for the salon despite support from friends and her fiancé.

She talked about her financial struggles and inflation on Madison Beer’s second visit to the salon. Beer then surprised Wah by transferring $3,460 without telling her in advance to pay the salon’s rent.
Talking about it, Hazel said, “I was seriously just in awe that she was even giving me a chance to do her nails, I still can’t comprehend the fact that she paid for my rental!”

Madison Beer Is Currently On ‘The Spinnin Tour‘
Madison Beer is currently on her headlining tour, called ‘The Spinnin Tour‘. The tour consists of all her albums and singles and includes stops in Asia, America, Australia and Europe. As of now she’s on the Asian leg of the tour.
Regarding new music, her song ‘Make You Mine’ reached the top 10 in pop radio and is one of the biggest songs on TikTok as of now. As for the singer’s own preference when it comes to music, she opened up to Paper Magazine about her current obsession with new artists.
She said, “I’m trying to give a good example of newer artists. I listen to The Marías a lot. I’ve been on a Bee Gees rabbit hole, where I’ve just been discovering more Bee Gees songs and stuff. But, I mean, there’s nothing specific. I just literally do what’s recommended, and just keep listening to stuff.“
