Ryan Gosling Lands Number One Billboard Chartbuster With ‘I’m Just Ken’ From ‘Barbie’ Soundtrack

This one goes out to the Ken fandom. Ryan Gosling is now a legitimate music artist with the Billboard Top Hit. His single ‘I’m Just Ken‘ from the ‘Barbie’ soundtrack has gone to the top in only two weeks. After saving Jazz in ‘La La Land,’ the Canadian heartthrob has given the best possible representation to all the Kens in the world.

‘I’m Just Ken’ is a certified banger that begins as an ironic pop song that becomes a rock ballad of genuine sadness. The 42-year-old actor’s vocals give it a searing gravitas, making the song the current anthem of the heartbroken. The rankings on these charts come and go, so here’s hoping this song stays number one for as long as possible.

Add the number one hit to Ryan Gosling’s list of artistic achievements. The song ‘I’m Just Ken,’ from ‘Barbie,’ now sits number one on the Billboard Hot 100. This comes as a surprise since the last movie soundtrack to have such an impact on the music charts was the Disney film ‘Encanto.’

‘I’m Just Ken’ is not Ryan Gosling’s first time at the rodeo. His previous number-one single was ‘City Of Stars’ from ‘La La Land.’ It enjoyed its peak position for two weeks. The ‘Barbie’ soundtrack is also making waves. It is currently placed in second position on the Billboards Top 200 with 126,000 units and on the Soundtracks chart.
