Sabrina Carpenter has reached a new career high as the pop star bags her first ever No. 1 on the Billboards Hot 100 chart with her pop hit ‘Please Please Please’ after the song received sweet success following its predecessor ‘Espresso‘.
The ‘Feather‘ hitmaker, who have been climbing up charts and setting records as of late, celebrated her achievement on social media, while clapping back at trolls with a tweet. Here’s more about her achievement.

The singer created Hot 100 history last week when her viral smash song “Espresso” showed up at No. 3 and her song ‘Please Please Please‘ showed up at No. 2. She is the first solo performer in the 66-year-old Billboard Hot 100 chart history to achieve two simultaneous top-three songs. According to sources, ‘Please Please Please‘ had approximately 51 million official streams this week, making it Carpenter’s best-ever streaming week for a song. It has also seen a staggering 502% rise in radio airplay audience impressions. ‘Espresso’, another song by Carpenter, is the No. 4 hit in the US.

Sabrina celebrated her achievement by extending her gratitude on social media and attaching the screenshot of a tweet of someone who dissed her song ‘Please Please Please‘ claiming it to be a fumble.
On Instagram she wrote, “MY FIRST #1 on the @billboard HOT 100!!!!!!! And espresso at #4.. I’m very immensely grateful so i will surely always remember this day for the rest of my life! @jackantonoff@amyallen i deeply love this song and i love you both!!!!! I love our pitchy claps!!!!! She then added, “Thank you everyone who’s listened and made it so much fun to have these songs out in the world. More to come soon.”
