Taylor Swift is finally dropping in music for her beau Travis Kelce as he gets a few shoutouts in her new album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’. The album, which many speculated to be about Joe Alwyn actually has dedications that go four ways. There are songs about her split from Alwyn, a lot of songs about her short-lived romance with Matty Healy, two songs that reference Kim Kardashian and, of course, quite a few mentions of Travis Kelce and her relationship with him.
Though it was reported before that Swift has already written some songs for Kelce, fans first heard ‘The Alchemy’ in the album, which talked about her relationship with Kelce and his winning Super Bowl streak. As she released the second version of the album, it seemed there were a lot more allusions to Travis than Swifties thought.
Travis Kelce Features In ‘Tortured Poets’
The song opens with Taylor Swift referring to her feeling like she’s in high school when she’s with him, a metaphor for young, fresh love as opposed to the tumultuous relationships she has had in the past.
The lyrics then take a sultry turn as she sings about an intimate moment between the two as their friends are in the next room. “I’m watchin’ American Pie with you on a Saturday night/ Your friends are around, so be quiet/ I’m trying to stifle my sighs.”
In the bridge she adorably refers to their drastic differences, saying that he knows ball and she knows Aristotle. She also sings about how he wanted her and got her, referring to Kelce reaching out to Taylor bravely and winning her over as she sings, “You knew what you wanted and, boy, you got her.”
Fans are now excited to hear more songs dedicated to Travis Kelce. Knowing Taylor, she probably will release a few more albums dedicated to her ‘high school’ love.

Taylor Swift Shares Rare Clip Of Her And Travis Kelce
Apart from lyrical insights into their relationship, Swift also shared an adorable clip of the couple in a kitchen as she cooks dinner and Kelce spoils her with kisses.
In the video, Kelce surprises her with a passionate kiss. Swift reacts with surprise, then smiles. The compilation of clips also featured footage of Taylor Swift working out at the gym, sewing, doing arts and crafts, baking cinnamon buns, playing outside, and working on the song video. The caption says, “For a Fortnight.”
