Taylor Swift’s Argentine Fans Occupy Four Tents Outside The Stadium
Swifties are one of the most loyal fan bases, but sometimes they take things too far to express their loyalty towards Taylor Swift. In one such act, Swift’s fans in Argentina, where she will start the Latin American leg of the tour, have been living in tents outside the Estadio River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires to secure seats closer to the stage from their favorite pop star.
A report by Pitchfork revealed that there are as many as four tents erected outside the stadium. It is a well-curated and organized system that the occupiers came up with. In four tents, 240 people are waiting for the gates to open on November 9, 2023, so they can get a seat near the stage. Most people there are women who are all over 18 years old.
A girl named Irina talked to the outlet, telling them that her mother was okay with that until she maintained her grades in college. She said, “The fact that there are so many people makes things easier. We all have different schedules, and you fit yours amongst them.” To keep their spot, one has to have 60 monthly hours completed with sleepovers every month.
