Who Is Nicole Hocking And How Did She Meet Luke Combs?
Nicole Hocking grew up in Florida and pursued civil engineering from the same. However, like her future husband, Luke Combs, she had a liking for music, especially, country music. And eventually, Nicole moved to Nashville, Tennessee. She was drawn to Nashville because of country music and was hired as a recruiting and onboarding coordinator by Broadcasting Music Inc. It was here she met Luke when he was a struggling artist.
On the podcast, ‘Get Real With Caroline Hobby’, Nicole revealed how she met her husband. “We met through mutual friends,” Nicole related. Both were in Florida to attend a music festival in 2016. Nicole invited Luke to join her group and they enjoyed the festival together. At the end of the festival, both headed back to Nashville, where they both lived. Soon both started dating despite other people’s doubts. Luke later admitted that his song ‘Crazy Beautiful’ was inspired by her. Is Nicole the muse of Luke’s romantic songs?

The Couple’s Wedding And Children
Luke Combs had been dating Nicole for two years before he popped the ultimate question to her. And to Nicole’s surprise and happiness, she said yes! Luke related that he proposed to Nicole in their kitchen. But the couple waited to reach Hawaii for better pictures for the announcement. Two years later on 1 August, both got married in Southern Florida at a beach. Luke captioned their wedding picture on Instagram, “Yesterday was the best day of my life. I got to marry my best friend. I love you @nicohocking, here’s to forever.”
The pictures of the wedding were beautiful and certainly looked like a Disney movie. The couple recently had a son together, Tex Lawrence. They welcomed their baby boy on 19 June 2022. And Luke again took to Instagram to announce the happy news. He wrote, “This is what my days at home look like now. Couldn’t be happier about that. Been amazing getting to spend time with @nicohocking and little Tex.”
