During an interview with the U.K.-based radio show KISS Breakfast, Troye Sivan narrated the awkward interaction he had with Harry Styles at the Grammys in 2023. Harry took home the coveted trophy in the ‘Album of the Year’ category for ‘Harry’s House’. Troye asked the host of the show if she wanted to hear a ‘hilarious story.’
‘The Idol’ star started narrating his first time meeting Harry Styles at the Grammys in 2023. He said, “The first and only time that I met Harry Styles, we were at this Grammy party — he had actually just won a Grammy for album of the year.” Sivan continued, “I’m like super, super chill and he walks up to this conversation I’m already having. So we meet and I feel like I know him because it’s Harry Styles.”

In the interview, Troye Sivan further continued, “I just said to the other people, ‘Oh, I’m just going to make a wee,’ and then he arrives.” The ‘Blue Neighborhood’ artist added, “I’m speaking to him, ‘Oh, my God, mazel. Congrats on the Grammy,’ or whatever. Then he was like, ‘I’m just going to go to the bathroom,’ and I was like, ‘Oh, you’re going to the bathroom? I’m also going to the bathroom. Let’s go!”
However, Troye Sivan instantly regretted the words that came out of his mouth and went, “I wonder how he feels about this. Was that just the weirdest, worst thing that I possibly could’ve just said in that moment?” The artist regretted the incident the whole night and thought, “Why did I just ask Harry Styles if we should go to the bathroom together?”
