Zayn Malik is shedding some light on his life with daughter Khai inside doors and how she reacts to the One Direction member’s music as she continues to grow up and be a part of the musical sphere.
The ‘Pillowtalk‘ singer gave fans a rare insight into his relationship with his daughter and how she assumes every song belongs to him. Here’s what Zayn revealed about his daughter and her reaction to his music.
Zayn Malik Shares Daughter Khai’s Reaction To His Music
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar India, Zayn revealed that in addition to learning the words to his songs, Khai has also started to question, “Is my baba singing?” whenever any song is playing.

About being a father, he said, “It goes by so fast. Being a father has only inspired me and made me a better human. My daughter is my whole life and has given me purpose.”
Zayn has also talked about Khai’s musical abilities that she gets from Gigi. “She’s not expert-level, but she’s got a bit of rhythm when she’s hitting the drums and stuff. You can tell that she could definitely develop that into something.” And while one may think the musical genes came from Zayn, the singer disagrees and says they came from Khai’s mom Gigi Hadid. He said, “Her mom was actually really good at Guitar Hero on the drums and I was like ‘Maybe she got that from her mom.’ ‘Cause I was diabolical at it and G used to beat me all the time. I’m the musician and she beat me at this game!”

Following a sporadic romance that began in 2016, Hadid revealed in an April 2020 interview with Jimmy Fallon that she was having her first child with the former One Direction member. The couple announced that their daughter, Khai, had been born at home in September 2020.

Despite Hadid and Malik’s October 2021 breakup due to an alleged argument with Hadid’s mother Yolanda, they are still committed to raising Khai together and have settled into their parental duties with ease.
