As part of our idle moments, we all love to catch a good, comforting show. One of the shows on Netflix that does quite well at this is ‘Atypical‘. It is an endearing comedy show that centers on an autistic boy named Sam, played by Keir Gilchrist, who wants to start dating in order to get the romance that he lacks in his life.
The show debuted with great fanfare in 2017 and has since aired four seasons, the last of which debuted in 2021. Throughout the show, Sam is completely enamored with the penguins and the continent of Antarctica, and in the final episode of season 4 titled ‘Magical Bird #2,’ he and his father Doug (Micheal Rapaport) fulfilled his lifelong dream by visiting the continent.
