The ‘Stranger Things’ Creators Are Set To Work On Another Netflix Project
Although the fan favourite ‘Stranger Things’ is coming to an end with Season 5 on the way, it doesn’t mean that so is its creators’ enthusiasm. The latest news about the upcoming Netflix Horror Series ‘Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen’ has definitely lighted things up.
Netflix announced the news via a statement, confirming that the show’s creator and writer Haley Z. Boston, best known for penning other Netflix horror shows such as ‘Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities‘, is also attached as executive producer and showrunner.
“We were knocked flat when we first read Haley’s script,” said The Duffer Brothers. “She is a major new talent with a singular voice — her writing is twisted, terrifying, funny, and just… very Haley. We feel so lucky to be producing her first show, and we can’t wait to share her vision with the rest of the world.”
Though not much has been revealed, the synopsis from Netflix reads: “This atmospheric horror series tell the story of a bride and groom in the week leading up to their ill-fated nuptials. That’s not a spoiler – just read the title. RSVP at your peril.”

What Are The Other Projects Of The Duffer Brothers?
The Duffer Brothers first signed up for a Netflix deal all the way back in September 2019 for multiple years. At the time of signing, the company was called Monkey Massacre, which has since been renamed Upside Down Pictures.
Being best known for their work behind Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things‘, the duo has also worked on projects like ‘Wayward Pines’, ‘Hidden’, ‘Abaraham’s Boys’, and ‘We All Fall Down‘.
The brothers are currently in production on the final season of ‘Stranger Things’ for Netflix, and have a handful of other projects lined up with the streamer, including the series ‘The Boroughs’, which will begin production this fall; and a live-action adaptation of the manga series ‘Death Note‘.
Fans are more than thrilled to hear the great news of the Duffer Brothers having a multitude of projects upcoming as they wait for the long-awaited last season of ‘Stranger Things’.
