However, Netflix has revealed that by the fourth season, Cavill will be passing on the sword to the new Geralt, which is going to be played by Liam Hemsworth. And fans are not happy with it. Ever since the news, there have been disappointments, with fans of Cavill noting that Hemsworth won’t be able to fill in his shoes.

As the news of Liam Hemsworth being the new Geralt of Rivia came out, fans can’t stop but compare him to Mads Mikkelsen. Fans want Mikkelsen to be the new Geralt as he is one of the most underrated great actors. And they believe that he will be better suited without any doubt.
Mikkelsen has in the past, even taken the place of Johnny Depp in Fantastic Beasts and did an amazing job. Fans loved him as Dumbledore. The 56-year-old actor is also believed to have a mature age that would fit perfectly in the role of the Geralt of Rivia, as also mentioned in Fandomwire.
