After a poetic yet tragic love story with Paul Mescal in ‘All of Us Strangers’, Andrew Scott is ready to play a con man in Steven Zallian’s thriller on Netflix titled ‘Ripley’.
The film stars Dakota Fanning, who plays Marge Sherwood, and Johnny Flynn, who plays Dickie Greenleaf in this Con Man mini-series. Steven Zallian, known for ‘The Night Of’ and ‘The Irishman’, is writing, executive producing, and directing the Netflix miniseries.
Recently, Netflix released some first looks of Andrew Scott in ‘Ripley’. The story of the series will follow Tom Ripley to Italy as he is assigned to bring a wealthy person’s son back to New York. This hunt gives rise to murder, mystery, and deceit. There is no trailer for the mini-series released yet, but the series is set to be released in 2024.

The Actor Revealed That The Character Took A Toll On Him
Ripley’ starring Andrew Scott has been adapted from Patricia Highsmith’s Tom Ripley novels. During an interview with GQ, Andrew Scott said that the role of Tom Ripley took a toll on him. He said, “I did find that character lonely-making. I worked really hard and got quite sick, physically and mentally. It took a big toll on me. So when that was over, it made me think, how do I want to spend my life? I love acting, but I don’t necessarily think you should do it too much.”
