Characters Confirmed To Appear In ‘Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom’
1. Arthur Curry/Aquaman
‘Aquaman’ will not be a perfect film without Arthur Curry. The character established himself as the king of Atlantis towards the end of the first film and this time, he will be taking on the antagonist as a king instead of being a normal Atlantean. Jason Momoa is returning to portray the role again.
2. Mera
Amber Heard has been in the spotlight for her feud with ‘Johnny Depp’ in 2022. Despite several petitions to fire her from the project, the producers have managed to bring back Heard as Mera without any controversies. She is the daughter of King Nereus and the princess of Xebel.
3. Nuidis Vulko
Nuidis Vulko is the vizier of Atlantis and he is the one who trained Arthur so that Arthur can become the king of Atlanta one day. He did it on the order of Atlanna, Arthur’s mother, and despite Orm’s intentions to destroy the surface, he remained loyal to Atlanta and helped Arthur so that he can stop Orm.

4. Orm Marius
Orm is the half-brother of Arthur and he aimed to bring the wrath of Atlanta to the surface. He was initially the king of Atlantis and was imprisoned while he learned the truth that Arthur saved his mother. Although he is imprisoned, this time he will join hands with Arthur to take over another threat.
5. King Nereus
The character of King Nereus was not explored much despite that he is Mera’s father in the film. There is a possibility that the character will get more screen space considering that he changed sides to Arthur Curry after learning that he commands the sea with Atlan’s trident.
6. Black Manta
Black Manta appeared at the beginning of the film and he aimed to take revenge on Aquaman for the death of his father. Manta almost defeated Aquaman with Atlantean technology but was overpowered and thrown to the sea, eventually being saved by Dr. Stephen Shin. The mid-credits scene hinted that Manta joined hands with Shin to find Atlantis and will return to take his revenge on Aquaman.
7. Tom Curry
Tom Curry found Atlanna in an unresponsive state near the sea and they later fell in love, leading to the birth of Arthur. Atlanna had to leave when Tom and Arthur were threatened and attacked but she was eventually reunited with Tom in the end. It remains to be seen how the character will be utilized in the upcoming sequel.
8. Atlanna
Atlanna is the queen of Atlantis and according to Arthur’s narration in the first film, she escaped her marriage. While it was said that she was sacrificed to the Trench, she is later revealed to be alive and returns to Atlantis, bringing peace between her two sons. Atlanna will possibly get a larger role in the sequel compared to the first one.
9. Karshon
Karshon will be the main antagonist of the film with the character being voiced by Indya Moore. Nothing much has been revealed about the character but according to the comic book, it is a tiger shark that mutated after being exposed to nuclear waste. He is intelligent, has telepathic powers, and makes humanoid appearances. The character also fought Aquaman in comic books.
