Sony is building its own Marvel live-action universe based on Spider-Man characters. The next big projects in this lineup are ‘Madame Web’ and ‘Kraven the Hunter’. Recently, photos and videos from the set of ‘Madame Web’ revealing the first look of Dakota Johnson were shared online.
The movie features ‘Euphoria’ actress Sydney Sweeney along with ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ star Dakota Johnson in major roles. The leaked material is hinting that the movie will have the ambiance of early 2000s Marvel.

Dakota Johnson Spotted On ‘Madame Web’ Set
‘Madame Web’ is surrounded by mystery as there is not much known about the film. Created by writer Denny O’Neil and artist John Romita Jr., the character first appeared in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ #210 in 1980. She appears as an elderly woman with a medical condition called Myasthenia Gravis, connected to a life support system resembling a spiderweb. The film will supposedly give the titular character a proper origin story within Sony’s Spider-Man Universe.
Dakota Johnson, who is cast in a secret role, was recently spotted on the film’s set in Boston. Twitter user @dakotaj_updates shared the first look of the actress’ character in the film.
The first video which is 7 seconds long, features Dakota Johnson poking her head through a door of an unnamed hotel or similar building. The actor is wearing all black except the red leather jacket.

Another 13-second-long video sees Johnson standing at the entrance of the same mysterious building. All these videos are from Allston, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston. There’s absolutely no clue pointing to what location it might be in the story itself.

The upcoming Sony film has already caught the attention of the fans with its star-studded cast. Now, with Johnson’s first look, fans just couldn’t help flooding social media with their excitement.
