For Audrina Patridge, the past has no bearing on the present. ‘The Hills‘ star revealed that she wishes she hadn’t succumbed to peer pressure as a young adult growing up in Southern California, especially when it came to shooting topless images.
“I was kind of guided and peer-pressured in certain situations that I wish I could say, ‘No.’ And be strong with my ‘No,'” Audrina explained on the June 29 episode of The Viall Files. “And not fall into peer pressure with, you know, topless photos.”Â

Audrina Patridge Admits She Was “Ashamed” To Pose Topless
Nude images of the reality star first appeared in 2008, so it seems. The photoset was the subject of a statement from Audrina at the time. “I shot these images a long time ago when I was barely out of high school and began to model,” she told MTV. “I didn’t know how to defend myself since I was naive and overly trusting of people. A lesson well-learned for both myself and the young women who look to me as an example.”
Adrina talked about how the release of the photographs made her feel: “People turn things into a judgemental, negative way, and then it makes you feel guilty and horrible about yourself.”Â
It was her co-star Justin Bobby who gave Audrina the push she needed. She recalled, “[He] was like, ‘Who cares? They’re boobs. Everybody has boobs. Stop freaking out about it,'” Audrina said. “For me, I had to put things in perspective where it was like, ‘Alright, who cares?'” Â
“Navigating your early 20s and teens is hard and those choices you do sometimes have to live with,” she added. “You learn from them, but then you can teach other people from what you’ve been through.” Â
Audrina Talks Spills ‘The Hills’ Secrets
Audrina also discussed her connection with Adam DiVello, the executive producer of ‘The Hills’, and how the cast had to enlist the help of attorneys when filming in Miami for the Super Bowl.
She said that Kristin Cavallari “didn’t show up for a couple of episodes,” and the producers tried to “bribe” the actors into speaking bad things about her by giving them a fancy handbag.
“Lo [Bosworth] was like, ‘I’ll do it!'” Audrina said. “So she went on camera and started talking about Kristin and putting things out there that weren’t true—about her doing drugs and all that—and it was on the cover of Us Weekly. It was so bad.”Â
