A New Clip Raises Questions About Barbie’s Sexuality
In the particular viral clip, Gloria a.k.a Americ Ferrera yells at Barbie to get in the car. And for a brief moment, instead of jumping in the car, Gloria and Barbie share intense eye contact, making it obvious that it is not just mere eye contact. Fans analyzing this clip claimed that Barbie is a lesbian. Anyway, the movie is not what it seems to be, has opened up many possibilities that can happen based on fan theories.

Ryan Gosling revealed on Entertainment Tonight that it “is not what you think it is”. Margot Robbie also chimed in an interview with Vogue: “With that come a lot of exciting ways to attack it. People generally hear ‘Barbie’ and think, ‘I know what that movie is going to be,’ and then they hear that Greta Gerwig is writing and directing it, and they’re like, ‘Oh, well, maybe I don’t…”

Fans Reactions To Barbie Being Possibly Homosexual
The fans can’t keep calm knowing that Barbie might be lesbian because of the new viral video. They are loving the idea of the doll being homosexual. One Twitter user wrote, “The new Barbie clip… I know a gay stare when I see one”, while the other one replied, “Barbie is gonna be gay Barbie is gonna be gay Barbie is gonna be gay Barbie is gonna be gay Barbie is gonna be gay.”
Meanwhile, another user theorized, “Everyone is saying this clip shows they are gay but I think America’s character wasn’t interested in helping Barbie until in the clip and that’s why Barbie looks so shocked and relieved. I do hope they are gay though“. A fourth user relived her childhood memory saying, “The most real thing Barbie movie could do is make Barbie gay bc every girl has made her Barbies gay at least once”.
However, the fans will have to wait till 21 July to know if Barbie is actually gay or not.
