The day Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock on the Oscar stage has been marked as shameful in the history of the awards show. The incident happened after Rock made a comment about Smith’s wife. Ever since then, Smith has faced a lot of backlash from the public.
Recently, the actor accepted his mistake and apologized to Chris Rock in a video. But it looks like the comedian is not ready to forgive him and made some sharp remarks about the ‘Men In Black‘ actor.

Chris Rock Claims “Everybody Is Trying To Be A F***ing Victim”
Chris Rock recently took the stage at the Fox Theater in Atlanta on Friday night which was a part of his Ego Death World Tour just hours after Smith’s apology video was posted. The comedian addressed the whole slap incident at the Oscars. While doing so he ended up comparing the actor to convicted killer Suge Knight.
“Everybody is trying to be a fucking victim. If everybody claims to be a victim, then nobody will hear the real victims,” he said. “Even me getting smacked by Suge Smith.”
Rock also pointed out that even after the slap he realized that the show should continue without any hindrance. “I went to work the next day, I got kids,” he said. “Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face.”
Will Smith’s Apology Video
Will Smith showed how deeply ashamed he was for his actions and posted an apology video on Friday. He didn’t just apologize to Chris but also to his brother, Tony, and their mother, Rose Rock. His mother already expressed her disappointment in her son’s actions previously. “When he slapped Chris, he slapped all of us,” she told WIS News 10 back in April, adding, “but he really slapped me.” Smith accepted that his actions were unjustifiable and apologized to everyone.
In his apology video, the ‘King Richard‘ actor said, “I will say to you, Chris, I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable, and I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk.” But it’s clear that Rock isn’t ready to forgive him just yet.
