The 37-year-old, who is in Qatar with Portugal, already managed to take one final dig at the Premier League club earlier in the day. Ronaldo took to social media to post about his new watch collection, which included a goal he scored against United for Real Madrid in the Champions League back in 2013.
“I’m excited to announce my partnership with Jacob and co , one of the leading watch brands in the world,” the former Man Utd star wrote on Instagram. “Today, we reveal our first watch collection that I co-designed with my dear friend Jacob Arabo.” There are two designs that the all time top goal scorer in men’s international football was sporting in his post, with one of them showing him celebrating a goal.

What Did Ronaldo Say In The Interview That Cost His Place In Man Utd?
Ronaldo gave a controversial interview to Piers Morgan last week in which he slammed the club, its owners, players and managers. Amongst his criticisms were claims that only three of his teammates were ‘professional,’ and he said that he was being ‘forced‘ out of the club, despite him trying to leave in the summer.
Following the interview, there were claims that he couldn’t carry on as a United player, and that his teammates didn’t want him to come back to the club after the World Cup. Well, following the interview, there came an announcement on Tuesday confirming that he was leaving the club with immediate effect.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect,” the club said in the official statement.“The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future.”
