Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Chris, collectively known as Daft Punk, are bringing an anniversary edition of ‘Random Access Memories.’ The group famously parted ways in 2021 but is coming together momentarily. The occasion is the re-release of their multiple Grammy-winning album with previously unheard tracks from the duo.
The new addition of the ‘Random Access Memories‘ will feature previously unheard tracks. This material will last around 35 minutes. The anniversary edition of Daft Punk’s most commercial and critical album will be available on April 12, 2023. Meanwhile, Thomas Bangalter will also come out with a record titled ‘Mythologies.’

All About Anniversary Edition Of ‘Random Access Memories’
After leaving Virgin Records, Daft Punk signed with Columbia Records. Their first order of business for Columbia was the album ‘Random Access Memories.’ The lead single on the album, ‘Get Lucky‘ became the band’s most acclaimed single.’ Random Access Memories‘ brought them more laurels. In 2014, it won five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year for ‘Get Lucky.’
The phenomenon of Daft Punk caught on. In 2016, Daft Punk earned its sole number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The song that got them at the peak was ‘Starboy,’ a collaboration with the Weeknd. But before the duo could achieve more, they quit in 2021.

The duo will release demos, rare tracks, and early takes for the expanded edition. The new addition has nine bonus tracks in total. It will be available in various formats: 3 LPs, 2 CDs, streaming, and download. The original album will be made available for the first time in Atmos.
The tracks featured on the 10th Anniversary Edition of ‘Random Access Memories‘ from Daft Punk are ‘Give Life Back to Music’, ‘The Game of Love’, ‘Giorgio by Moroder’, ‘Within’, ‘Instant Crush’, ‘Lose Yourself To Dance’, ‘Touch’, ‘Get Lucky’, ‘Beyond’, ‘Motherboard’, ‘Fragments of Time’, ‘Doin’ it Right‘, and ‘Contact.
It will also include ‘Horizon‘ (Japan CD), ‘GLBTM‘ (Studio Outtakes), ‘Infinity Repeating‘ (2013 Demo), ‘GL‘ (Early Take), ‘Prime‘ (2012 Unfinished), ‘LYTD‘ (Vocoder Tests), ‘The Writing of Fragments Of Time‘, and ‘Touch‘ (2021 Epilogue)’
In other news, Thomas Bangalter is coming out with his first solo project since leaving Daft Punk. The album titled ‘Mythologies’ has released two singles ‘L’Accouchement‘ and ‘Le Minotaure.’ The album will be 90-minute composition commissioned by choreographer Angelin Preljocaj. ‘Mythologies‘ is coming on April 7, 2023, via Erato/Warner Classics.
