‘Doomsday Mom’ Lori Vallow Daybell Sentenced To Life In Prison Without Parole

From zombie beliefs to evil spirits became the discussion inside a courtroom as the trial of Lori Vallow Daybell was being conducted. The ‘Doomsday Mom’ surely gained the attention of a few. Daybell, even after killing her children, and conspiring to murder Tammy Daybell, insisted that she was not guilty of murder.

Chad Daybell, who was alongside Lori in all three murders is also expected to undergo his own trial in the spring of 2024. With the ‘Doomsday Mom’ getting sentenced to life in prison without parole, much concession can’t be expected for Chad either. Here’s more about the unbelievable murder that occurred.

Lori Vallow Daybell: ‘A Danger To Society’

On July 31, Lori Vallow Daybell was sentenced to multiple life terms in prison without parole. The accused was found guilty of murdering her two sons, Tylee Ryan (16) and Joshua Vallow (7). In addition, she was also charged guilty of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder of her partner’s ex-wife, Tammy Daybell. The court said that Lori was a danger to society’ and was beyond rehabilitation.

The court pointed out that “a mother murdering her own children…would never serve the interest of justice.” Before the verdict, Vallow Daybell did mention her “many communications with Jesus” and also that her children and friend Tammy who visited her are “happy and busy in the spirit world“. The prosecutors also pointed out that Lori believed that she was on areligious mission. She also thought her children were possessed by “zombies“. The murders were also influenced by Lori’s infatuation for Chad and his ideology.

Tylee Ryan and JJ were first reported missing back in November 2019 by JJ’s grandparents. They were unable to reach their grandchildren on the phone. Even when the grandparents were concerned, the parents seemed less bothered about the situation.

In June 2020, human remains were found buried on Chad Daybell’s property in Idaho. The remains belonged to his wife’s children. This led to Chad being arrested and charged with concealing evidence. Lori’s guilt came to the spotlight only when a hair on the duct tape used to wrap JJ was found to be his mother’s. The two bodies were severely “burned, mutilated and dismembered”.

Tammy Daybell, when found dead in October 2019 was suspected to have died due to natural causes. But with the kids missing the police authorities started to connect it with the death of Chad’s former wife.
