Dwayne Johnson has been earning millions following his successful career in the acting industry over the years. This has helped him to become the owner of several franchises and this also includes XFL.
Johnson, along with various partners and investors purchased the XFL for $15 million in 2020. However, the company has been trending online after it reportedly suffered losses of more than $60 million.
XFL Has Lost $60 Million Under The Ownership Of Dwayne Johnson
XFL has reportedly lost around $60 million in its first year of operation under Dwayne Johnson and had to cut a few jobs. However, there have been high expectations from the upcoming season as the league is expected to earn around $100 million in revenue.
Around 25% of the income has been coming from the broadcast partner, ESPN. But Johnson is not planning to give up so easily. Johnson has already responded to the losses and said that he has been in the business game for a long time and XFL is an exception.
Johnson stated that they have witnessed a lot of success and although they suffered a few losses in the first season, they have learned a lot from it. He mentioned that 75 to 100 players would compete in NFL camps and it is a big number that will continue to expand by every season.

Dwayne Johnson Will Be Returning As Luke Hobbs
Dwayne Johnson is all set to return as Luke Hobbs after his last few films failed to impress in terms of box office collections. Hobbs has already made a cameo appearance in the mid-credits scene of ‘Fast X’ and he is expected to play a bigger role in ‘Fast & Furious 11.’
On the other hand, the events of ‘Fast X’ have increased the possibilities of a sequel to ‘Hobbs & Shaw’, released in 2019. Meanwhile, a standalone project based on the character is being planned by Universal.
