Elon Musk has finally shared his opinion regarding Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation trial following Friday’s final statements.
When Depp’s ex-wife Heard revealed in an op-ed piece from last year that she had been the victim of domestic abuse, he decided to pursue legal action against her. Although his identity was not included in that article, the actor who plays Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean stated the claims had an influence on his life and career, and that studios were unwilling to work with him as a result.
Depp had accused Heard of having an affair with Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk during their marriage, including a threesome with model Cara Delevingne, 29, which Musk denied. Musk’s name had come up several times during the trial.

Telsa CEO Elon Musk breaks his silence on Johnny Depp’s libel case against Amber Heard, who he dated for a year. Musk’s statement came in response to Lex Fridman’s tweet, who is an MIT researcher. Musk replied, “I hope they both move on. At their best, they are each incredible.”
When Johnny Depp was on trial, he brought up Elon Musk. Johnny Depp was challenged by his former talent agent Christian Carino about a text concerning Elon Musk that he sent to Carino. The actor made reference to Heard and Musk’s relationship in his text.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard sued each other for defamation, alleging they were abused during their nearly two-year-long marriage. Before getting married in 2015, the couple dated for a short period of time. They divorced in 2017. After the divorce, Heard authored an op-ed for the Washington Post in 2018 in which she described herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse.”
Actor Johnny Depp has alleged that the op-end “destroyed” his already dwindling career. In response to Amber’s abuse claims, Depp sued her for defamation and stated that he had been assaulted by the Heard several times during their time together.
Amber Heard was sued by Johnny Depp in March of this year for writing an op-ed piece for the Hollywood Reporter in 2018. Heard in 2020 countersued for $100 million after failing to get the case dismissed or relocated out of Virginia.
