Small gestures are more than enough to prove the depth of the relationship between two people. Pierce Brosnan precisely did such an act. The 69-year-old will be appearing in the action fantasy film, ‘Black Adam‘ which will be premiering on 21 October. The film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra will star Dwayne Johnson in the titular role along with Sarah Shahi and Noah Centineo.
The Golden Globe nominee made a small tribute to his wife in the upcoming movie. He disclosed this in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. Pierce plays the role of Doctor Fate a.k.a Kent Nelson, a superhero and Justice Society of America member in the movie. And in the realm of magic and superpower, he showcases an emblem of love.

Pierce Brosnan And His Subtle Tribute To His Wife
It was in an interview with ET that Pierce Brosnan said about his affectionate gesture. “This is our wedding ring and this is a watch that Keely bought me many years ago with an inscription that [reads], ‘Time flies on love’s wings,‘” he said. “I decided to wear for this character. It seemed appropriate.” Thus by wearing his real wedding ring the actor was honoring his wife and their 21 years of marriage. Pierce and Keely were married in 2001 after meeting in 1994. They share two sons, Dylan and Paris.
“The man [has] traversed the ages of time. He’s one of the most powerful sorcerers in the DC comic book world. He did have a wife called Enza, and she was even more powerful than him I hear,” Pierce explained about his role in ‘Black Adam‘. And rightly enough the character would have a back story with the mention of a long-lost wife.

Keely And Her Superhero Husband
“I love those emblems, that he took those with him into the superpower, superhero realm,” Keely, 59, was happy about her husband’s loving gesture. The love shared by the couple can be experienced through their conversations. It is both loving and encouraging. On their 21st anniversary, the actor shared a photo from their wedding day and greeted his wife with anniversary wishes. And he captioned the post, “We danced that night and still dance the dance today. I could do it all again.”
On the other hand, Keely had called her husband “a superhero” when she spoke to People at the New York City premiere of ‘Black Adam‘. And this is what she answered when asked what makes her husband a superhero, “His heart. He has a big heart, generous, warm, kind heart.” This statement does show the love in their relationship.
