After a hiatus of two years, Tribeca Film Festival is back with in-person screenings. Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro founded the festival in 2002. Rosenthal said in an interview with Variety, “We are watching things together as a community. We’re going to have some laughs, listen to music and see new voices come together.”
With all the great line-ups, Taylor Swift’s short film ‘All Too Well’ is also at the film festival. The short stars ‘Stranger Things’ fame Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien. The short explores the turbulent relationship between Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal.
During the Variety interview, both Robert and Jane were asked about the short film and whether they are fans of ‘folklore’ artist’s music. It turns out Rober De Niro is a fanboy! He said, “I have all of her albums. I’m not not a fan. I probably hear her music and like it on the radio. My young daughter puts a station on, and it drives me crazy when they chat. When they have music, it’s OK!”
