Elon Musk is always in the news no matter what he does. From his tweets to business deals, to personal life and controversial opinions, everything stirs the headlines. Lately, the Tesla CEO has been making drastic changes in Twitter ever since he took over the company.
The world’s richest man has recently said something that has shocked everyone. In the Twitter Spaces conversation, Musk said that he is at risk of getting shot or hurt, and it’s “quite significant.” Let’s find out in detail what exactly the billionaire said at that event.
Elon Musk Facing A “Quite Significant” Risk Of Getting Killed
Musk’s outspoken nature has surely irked a lot of people. He often takes potshots at people and organizations over certain things. This might or might not have a severe impact.
On Saturday, Musk attended a two-hour-long audio chat on Twitter Spaces where he spoke about the risk of something bad happening to him. “Frankly the risk of something bad happening to me, or even literally being shot, is quite significant,” he said.
He further said, “It’s not that hard to kill somebody if you wanted to, so hopefully they don’t, and fate smiles upon the situation with me and it does not happen … There’s definitely some risk there.”

Musk Also Talked About Twitter’s Future
At the same event, the SpaceX founder also talked about freedom of speech and the future of Twitter. He said at the end of the day “we just want to have a future where we’re not oppressed. (Where) our speech is not suppressed, and we can say what we want to say without fear of reprisals“.
“As long as you’re not really causing harm to somebody else, then you should be allowed to say what you want,” he further said.
Musk said that free speech has been unusual but not common throughout history. He said that it’s important to fight “hard to keep that because it’s such a rare thing and it’s by no means something that’s default“.
