As pop star Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce are hogging headlines with their newly blooming relationship, Paige VanZant — a professional boxer and wrestler – said the “love story is 100 percent fake.”
Taking to Instagram, VanZant posted a small clip of an episode of the podcast ‘A Kickass Love Story‘. “I think that the Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce ‘love story,’ I believe it’s 100 percent fake. Come for me, ‘Swifties’. I have UFC fans coming for me. I think I can handle the ‘Swifties‘,” she said in the video.

Paige VanZant Says The “Love Story” Benefits Everyone Involved
Paige VanZant, while trashing the authenticity of the pairing, said it is serving as a “brilliant publicity move benefiting the NFL, Swift, and Kelce“. She also said that the entire turn of events is a well-calculated move, aimed to bring into limelight the the public profiles of everyone involved.
“It is publicity. It is — one, it’s huge for the NFL because yes, the NFL is big. Taylor Swift is huge and now she’s getting an entirely different demographic to come watch the NFL,” she said in the video posted with a caption “here. I said it and I mean it“.
“Think of the wives that are buying Travis Kelce jerseys now. It’s a huge publicity play on both fronts. It’s good for Taylor Swift, it’s good for the NFL, it’s good for Travis Kelce. There is so much strategic stuff that’s happening,” VanZant added.

Swift-Kelce Dating News Led To Huge Profit
Paige Vanzant’s comments came days after Swift and Travis Kelce revealed they are dating each other ahead of the latter’s week three NFL matchup against the Chicago Bears. Swift also made a surprise appearance at the game.
The viewership numbers shot up as people following sports and entertainment were thrilled about the development. Consequently, ticket sales and Kelce jersey purchases also saw a sudden rise.
VanZant, known for her talent in bare-knuckle boxing and professional wrestling recently parted ways with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
