‘John Wick: Chapter 4‘, which is scheduled to release next year on March 23, teased the first photo from the live-action film. Keanu Reeves, who has been playing the role of John Wick since its inception, is all ready for the new sequel.
The fans gasped at the first ‘John Wick: Chapter 4‘ photo, with many saying that it emanates major vampire energy. The image surely gives a mysterious haunting vibe, which adds more to the anticipation.

Keanu Reeves Returns As Assassin In ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’
Keanu Reeves is returning with the John Wick franchise after a three-year gap. The first-look photo is not giving much away about the plot, but it nevertheless sets the excitement in motion. John Wick 3 had ended with him agonizing in pain because of his multiple injuries after the fall from the top of the Continental Hotel.
Now that the first teaser photo has been revealed, many fans suspect that Lionsgate may release the first trailer of the movie at this week’s San Diego Comic-Con. Considering that John Wick 4 has a lot of action and assassin weapon videos, Lionsgate can heavily promote the film. However, since there’s still a year left before the movie hits the cinema.
Why The Film Was Delayed
John Wick 3: Parabellum was a box office hit and chapter 4 was announced soon after. Keanu Reeves was expected to shoot ‘John Wick‘ 4 and 5 for Lionsgate back to back. However, the unprecedented Covid pandemic and lockdown mixed up the schedules and the movies got delayed. Production kept getting delayed also because Keanu devoted his time shooting for Warner Bros‘ The Matrix Resurrections. ‘John Wick 5‘ was originally planned to be released in 2022 only. Alas, the pandemic had its effect on the franchise.
‘John Wick: Chapter 4‘ will also have some fresh faces and new actors. One of them is the Japanese-British pop superstar Rina Sawayama who’s making her film debut with this role. Also joining the cast are Shamier Anderson, Bill Skarsgard, Clancy Brown, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Donnie Yen.
