Kanye West is finally facing the consequences of his wrongdoings and hate-spewing comments. The repercussions are financial and it is harming his repertoire with long-nurtured business relations between giants in the industry. The hate-mongering behavior has had a pattern where it all started with his ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt at Paris Fashion Week. Later, he posted insensitive, anti-Semitic posts on his social media, which was the last nail in the coffin.
As a consequence, many brands pulled the plug with the brands Yeezy and Ye. Adidas put the contract with him ‘under review’. Fashion giants like Balenciaga and Vogue no longer want any association with Kanye due to his erratic behavior. Now, along with brand deals, the ‘Donda’ rapper is also losing projects, and most recently, he lost an important one.
