Beauty has become a major judgment criterion in today’s world. People can go to any extent to look glamorous and young forever. Well, this puts the onus on plastic surgery, which is quite commonplace now. But, it doesn’t always turn out as expected. That’s the exact thing that happened to ‘90 Day Fiancé’ alum Larissa Dos Santos Lima.
While most people who experience a “botched” plastic surgery result hardly accept it, let alone open up about their feelings in front of the world, Larissa took the initiative to shed some light on the red flags of the procedures.

Larissa Went Through A Lot Of Pain To Reverse Her Tummy Tuck
The TLC star took to Instagram to share a series of posts recently. She stated how she had to go through multiple reconstruction procedures to get her belly button back. It was following its removal during an abdominoplasty, also known as a ‘tummy tuck‘.
“Today, I would like to take the first step in slowly opening up about a plastic surgery procedure I received that is botched,” she wrote. “Like so many other people in this situation, I’ve been scared and embarrassed to speak out.”
After undergoing multiple plastic surgery procedures in the past, Larissa acknowledged that her decision to post about her failed procedure would likely “shock many people, [specifically as] someone that in the past supported plastic surgery.”
In a July 16 follow-up post, Larissa shared multiple snapshots of her stomach and her belly button that show various stages of the healing process.
“When I got abdominoplasty, My belly button was removed and disposed without my consent,” she revealed. “I did 3 very painful revisions to create a belly button. Unfortunately, it was never fixed.”
Linda Evangelista Inspired Larissa To Speak Up
Larissa Dos Santos Lima has expressed that she couldn’t speak up out of her hesitation at first regarding the matter. But a person inspired her to be bold and loud and that made it all possible for her to own the matter a year later. “I did not want to speak of this before, but I’m tired of being silent in my sadness with no where to go to fix the problem,” she explained. “My inspiration to open up is @lindaevangelista . Now, I have the courage.”
Last September, Linda Evangelista announced on Instagram that she had become “permanently deformed” after developing paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH) following a non-surgical fat-freezing procedure.
