There’s nothing wrong with a little sibling rivalry but talk about taking things too far. Malik Obama, Barack Obama‘s half-brother, seems to really have it in for his half-brother. Malik took to social media to post a throwback picture of him with the former POTUS. Malik later added a hateful caption in which he called him the worst things imaginable.
But he went all guns blazing, making brazen remarks about his half-brother’s sexuality. He made several posts that completely destroyed Barack Obama’s public image. Scores of users dissuaded him from making these posts, but Malik couldn’t be silenced. It looks like these two will not call a truce anytime soon.

Everybody loves a good throwback moment. It usually accompanies sweetness, but that wasn’t Malik’s intention. He posted an old photo of him and Barack Obama as young revolutionaries. But he turns to name-calling in the caption, referring to his half-brother as a “snake” and a “nobody” in the post.
Nonsense! What kind of brother is that? I buried my children Kweku and Rashidah alone, I buried both my aunts Zeituni and Hawa Auma alone, I buried my mother Mama Kezia Obama alone, and I buried my grandmother Mama Sara Obama alone. What kind of brother is that? Fake Ass A Snake… pic.twitter.com/oWhZ4EgtyT

Malik’s anger escalates in further posts where he renounces Barack Obama and his list of Presidential achievements. He calls him a “traitor” and refuses to show him any respect. To top it all off, he accused the former President of selling his soul to the devil.

Unfortunately, this hatred isn’t an insulated incident. In 2020, Malik expressed his frustrations about Barack Obama to The New York Post while promoting his memoir ‘Big Bad Brother From Kenya.’ He accused the former POTUS of turning into an elitist after gaining wealth, calling him “cold” and “ruthless.”
He also talked about his falling out with the former President, leading him to endorse Donald Trump in 2016. The two have the same father named Barack Hussein Obama Sr., a Kenyan economist who died in a car accident in 1982. Malik and Barack first met in 1985, remaining friendly for a long time. But things changed when the latter became the US President.
