Thomas Wesley Pentz, famously known as DJ Diplo, is in trouble for alleged sexual crime against a woman he dated in the past. Known for producing famous tracks including ‘Lean On’, ‘Cold Water’, and ‘Where Are You Know’, the singer has been accused of revenge porn in a lawsuit filed by a woman from California.
The woman who identifies as Jane Doe has sued the Grammy winner artist for distributing and recording his sexual videos without her consent to third parties, and sharing pornographic images with her. Here’s what the lawsuit claims.

DJ Diplo Is Accused Of Revenge Porn In A New Lawsuit
A woman named Jane Doe has claimed that she shared an intimate relationship with DJ Diplo from 2016- 2023 and that he sent explicit photos of her to third parties, according to documents obtained by the People.
The complaint made by the New York-based woman alleges that between 2018 and 2023, he used to record himself having s*x with her without her consent and “also disclosed and/or distributed the images and videos to third parties through text messaging and Snapchat.”
According to the reports, Diplo and the woman got in touch through Snapchat in 2016, when she was 21 years old and they began sharing “pornographic images” between April and June of 2016.
They first met in a hotel room in June 2016 and since then maintained a lowkey sexual relationship till October 2023.

The Lady Never Gave Permission To Diplo to Record Her And Distribute The Videos
According to Jane Doe, she never permitted Diplo to record her during the their sexual relationship. She claims to have made it clear that she “did not want Defendant Diplo recording them engaging in sexual activities without her explicit consent nor did she want him to distribute images and/or videos to third parties and never gave him consent to do so.”
However, on a few occasions, she gave him permission to record her but not distribute it to other people. The report added, “Never gave him permission to distribute those images and videos to third parties and reiterated that he was not to record them without her explicit consent.”
On November 2023, the lady was contacted by a third party person claiming that they had intimate videos of her having sex with the artist. Doe claimed that the person received the videos of “genitals, buttocks, and face”, on October 2018.
Micha Liberty, an attorney for Doe from Liberty Law, said in a statement that, “Diplo’s actions represent a severe abuse of power and a blatant disregard for human dignity.” Furthermore, the NYPD has acknowledged an active investigation against him.
