Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are two names that are not getting removed from the headlines so easily. Now the duo is in the spotlight once again as Harry has filed a lawsuit against Mirror Group Newspaper for reportedly gathering unlawful information.
Harry has alleged in the lawsuit that journalists from different publications were involved in hacking the voicemails of his and other celebrities during the 1990s and 2000s. Let’s check more about Harry’s cross-examination.
Prince Harry Aims To End The Hate Towards Meghan Markle
Prince Harry’s cross-examination was held on Tuesday and Wednesday at the London High Court. He addressed the articles that were a result of phone hacking alongside the stories of his relationship with his brother William and former lover, Chelsy Davy.
Harry also responded to the questions asked by the attorney of the Mirror News Group. He stated that he decided to bring the case to the court so that the hate against Meghan Markle can be ended.
Piers Morgan, who was working at the Mirror News Group in the past, responded to Harry’s comments on him, saying that he wishes good luck for Harry in his privacy campaign and is planning to read the same in Harry’s upcoming book.

Details Of Prince Harry’s Witness Statement
Although Prince Harry responded to the questions of the lawyer representing Mirror News Group, his comments were not exactly revealed anywhere. But according to a witness statement, Harry and Meghan Markle have been victims of personal attacks and intimidation from Piers Morgan.
Harry said that his behavior was in retaliation to the claims of the phone hacking. Morgan has previously mentioned that he and Meghan were good friends in 2016 and later claimed during his appearance on ‘The Late Late Show’ that he was ghosted by Markle after she met Harry.
Morgan then covered unfavorably about Markle and he later resigned from ‘Good Morning Britain’ in 2021. This was in response to the criticism of him for not believing Markle’s comments related to her mental health in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
