    Duke In Danger: Which Drugs Has Prince Harry Openly Admitted To Consuming That Led To His US Visa Lawsuit?

But Prince Harry’s memoir, ‘Spare,’ has jeopardized their lives, especially Harry’s. In the memoir, he has confessed to using hard drugs, which has led to a lawsuit questioning the status of his US visa application despite the use of drugs.

    There are many legal implications for consuming, possessing, and dealing with drugs in both the US and the UK. Prince Harry has jeopardized his stay in both countries, especially the USA. In his tell-all memoir, ‘Spare,’ and other interviews, he has admitted to using drugs in several instances at a very tender age.

    In one of the explosive concessions, Prince Harry said that he had consumed cocaine at the age of 17. He admitted to consuming the class A drug during a hunting weekend. Harry wrote, “Of course, I had been taking cocaine at that time. At someone’s house, during a hunting weekend, I was offered a line, and since then I have consumed some more.”

    He continued, “It wasn’t very fun, and it didn’t make me feel especially happy, as seemed to happen to others, but it did make me feel different, and that was my main objective.” In the UK, if you possess Class A drugs, it can lead to imprisonment of up to 7 years, an unlimited fine, or both.

    During an interview with Dr. Gabor Maté, Prince Harry explained why he consumed cocaine. He said, “(Cocaine) didn’t do anything for me; it was more of  social thing and gave me a sense of belonging for sure. I think it probably also made me feel different to the way I was feeling, which was kind of the point.”

    Prince Harry did not stop at one hard drug; he hopped onto another one when he accidentally found them in a friend’s refrigerator. When he was in California, Prince Harry admitted to consuming magic mushrooms.

    In the USA, magic mushrooms are prima facie illegal. The substance, psilocybin, found in it is highly illegal, so it makes the drug illegal. However, the mushrooms are not illegal in all states. Some municipalities in California, like San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, and Santa Cruz, have made it legal.

    In ‘Spare,’ Prince Harry chronicled the incident. He wrote, “We spotted a huge box of black diamond mushroom chocolates. Someone behind me said they were for everybody. Help yourself, boys. My mate and I grabbed several, gobbled them, and washed them down with tequila.” He talked about his experience in the bathroom when it started having its effects.

    The Duke of Sussex also consumed weed in the UK during his school days. He and his friends had weed while watching the famous animated dark comedy show, ‘The Family Guy.’ He started relating to the baby character in the show named Stewie Griffin. In the UK, carrying cannabis can cost you a £90 fine with a warning.

    Prince Harry confessed that he had the most positive experience with marijuana. In the Dr. Gabor Maté interview, he said, “Marijuana is different; that actually really did help me. It was the cleaning of the windscreen, cleaning of the windshield, the removal of life’s filters just as much as on Instagram, these layers of filters.”

    He continued, “It removed it all for me and brought me a sense of relaxation, release, comfort, a lightness that I managed to hold on to for some time. I started doing it recreationally and then started to realize how good it was for me. I would say it is one of the fundamental parts of my life that changed me and helped me deal with the traumas and pains of the past.”
