The ongoing feud between the royal family and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has reached new heights. The whole drama started when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle retired from their royal duties.
Recently, some shocking news came to light that the Queen was glad that Meghan did not attend her husband Prince Philip’s funeral. The news can be true keeping the fact in mind that the queen did not want to take a picture with Meghan and Harry’s daughter Lilibet.

What Did The Queen Say About Meghan Markle’s Absence?
The Queen and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh were married together for 73 years. He died at the age of 99 in April 2021. Prince Harry came from US to attend his funeral however Meghan was very much pregnant with Lilibet and was unable to attend it. At the funeral, Harry reunited with his brother Prince William for the first time since the whole drama began. The two brothers were conversing after the funeral amid their feud.
After that, the couple didn’t even attend a memorial service for Philip in March 2022. Apparently the Queen was really happy with Meghan’s absence. An expert fom Tom Bower’s new book, ‘Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors‘ claims that the Queen expressed relief over Meghan’s absence from Phillip’s funeral. She said “Thank goodness Meghan is not coming,” to her trusted aides inside the chapel of Windsor Castle on the day of her late husband’s funeral in April 2021.
Queen Refuses To Take Pictures With Meghan Markle And Prince Harry’s Daughter
Lilibet first met the Queen during the Platinum Jubilee of the Queen. After that the monarch decided to not take a picture with Lilibet due to an issue with her eyes as the reports from the royal family claim. However, some people wondered if the Queen was actually concerned about her looks or was there a greater meaning for her refusal. Some are of the opinion that the royal family is trying their best to draw a line between them and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex due all the problems that have happened.
