On Saturday there was a Platinum Jubilee party at the palace in honor of the Queen. Many esteemed artists performed that evening. The first performance of the star-studded evening was by the Queen herself with Adam Lambert, in place of Freddie Mercury. The party included esteemed stars like Elton John, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Alicia Keys, and others. There was a special pre-recorded performance by Sir Elton John. Sir David Attenborough and David Beckham were also present. Stephen Fry, Dame Julie Andrews, The Royal Ballet, and Ellie Simmonds also made an appearance in the evening.

The party opened with a very adorable skit performed by the monarch and Paddington Bear. The monarch first acted when she appeared in a James Bond sequence for the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony. Even at the age of 96, she didn’t have any problem in acting. She sat down with Paddington Bear for some afternoon tea and had a conversation. Paddington Bear asked her if she would like a marmalade sandwich. The Queen replied that she also keeps one in her handbag for later. Then the butler informed them that the party was about to start. Finally, Paddington Bear wished the Queen by saying “Happy Jubilee ma’am and thank you for, everything.”
