Lady Colin Campbell Doubts Meghan And Harry’s Six-Month Plan
Netizens speculated that the Prince of Wales would seek to make things right with his estranged son, Prince Harry. Prince Charles might improve on his connection with the Sussexes by having them spend six months in the UK and the rest of the year in California.
The netizen questioned Campbell if Prince Harry was honest in reviving their relationship, or if he was just using it for fame and money. “My understanding is that the Prince of Wales loves his son and would dearly have loved to be able to mend fences with him,” Campbell stated.
Her concern was that the senior royals would be tempted to become involved with the Duchess of Sussex. In addition, she doubted that the six-month contract would be granted.
“Also, I have great reservations that there is any six-month in, six-month here, six-month there actually planned,” Campbell stated. “I don’t see how it would work I don’t think it’s gonna happen. Maybe back and forth, but six months here, six months there, except as a precursor to a divorce, I’m sorry, I don’t see it happening. I really don’t think it’s going to happen. I think it’s ‘pie in the sky.'”
She further said that the six-month agreement myth should be taken with a grain of salt. The public betrayal of the Sussexes by the royal family was humiliating in her eyes.
On Oprah Winfrey, Harry and Meghan said that a member of the royal family had expressed concern over the complexion of their unborn child. Also, Prince Charles and Prince William, the Duke of Sussex’s father and brother, were ensnared in their royal responsibilities, according to the Duke of Sussex.
