Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg have shared a close friendship over the years following their appearances together in ‘Mission: Impossible’ films. The friendship has not witnessed its involvement in any controversies or other problems.
Cruise has been spotted performing dangerous stunts in the ‘Mission: Impossible’ franchise. While audiences have always expressed their concern regarding the risks that come with the stunts, Pegg has now joined the list of those people, saying that he is worried for Cruise.
Simon Pegg Is Scared That Tom Cruise Might Die While Performing Stunts
Simon Pegg has portrayed the role of Benji Dunn since 2006. However, he has now revealed that the cast and crew of ‘Mission: Impossible’ are always worried about Cruise when he plans to perform any stunt.
In an interview during the premiere of ‘Mission: Impossible 7’, Pegg said that he is lucky since Benji is always present behind the computer. He admitted that Cruise jumps off a motorbike from the cliff and hung in trains, which is dangerous for him.
Pegg further stated: “There’s always a sense that, you know, one day, something might go wrong… we might lose Tom, you know. Anytime there’s a big stunt, we all have that sense of, you know, fear, but he always pulls it off.”

Simon Pegg Is Returning As Benji Dunn In ‘Mission: Impossible 7’
Simon Pegg will reprise his role as Benji Dunn in ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ which is scheduled to be released on July 12, 2023. The character of Dunn first appeared in ‘Mission: Impossible 3’, which was released in 2006.
Pegg’s character was initially a lab technician and he was later promoted to a field agent. The character will also play an important role this time, assisting Ethan Hunt and the rest of the team to take down a new enemy. ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ has received positive reviews following its premiere in Rome.
