Tom Cruise has briefly flirted with the idea of being a costumed hero. Soon after the success of ‘Risky Buisness, ‘ Cruise was offered the role during the 80s. But he also came close to playing the friendly neighborhood superhero in ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse.’ According to Slashfilm, Tom Cruise and James Cameron were to appear as voice cameos.
The ‘Mission: Impossible’ star was supposed to voice Peter Parker in ‘Spider-Man: The Motion Picture.’ This was supposed to be the movie Miles’ roommate Ganke watches on television. The duo was to provide the DVD commentary for this film within the film, helpful for Miles Morales in becoming a superhero.
