The Case Against Elon Musk’s Twitter Acquisition
In November 2022, Elon Musk bought Twitter for a whopping price of $44 billion. But one can argue things have become much worse. Since taking over, Elon Musk fired 200 staff workers. Moreover, Twitter’s value has plummeted to $20 billion.
Two of his high-level executives, Ella Irwin and A.J. Brown, left recently over the difference of opinions regarding content moderation. His support of former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has added to the list of reasons people have started losing faith in Twitter. Once a beloved platform, Twitter is slowly becoming the hotbed for right-wing content.
